Milestones: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Plein Air Painters of America and 100 Years of the National Park Service.

DENVER, CO. THE PLEIN AIR PAINTERS OF AMERICA (PAPA), the original society of outdoor artists, is pleased to announce that Steamboat Springs, Colorado will host their 30th annual paint-out and fine art exhibition.

THEME: National Parks, all units, in celebration of the National Park Service centennial.

  • August 5, 2016 (5PM to 8PM): Steamboat First Friday Art Walk.
  • August 8 to August 12: PAPA members meet in Steamboat Springs for paint out.
  • August 12 (9AM to 1PM): PAINT WITH PAPA: open instruction/paint-along offered by PAPA artists for patrons who sign up, bring their own gear and head out to a designated location to paint with their favorite artist. Fee of $25.
  • August 12 (5PM to 8PM): Official Opening of Plein Air Painters of America Exhibit.
