Bill Gollings Exhibit

06/08/2007 – 09/09/2007

Steamboat Art Museum in proud to host the E. W. “Bill" Gollings Exhibition for the community of Northwestern Colorado and its visitors. The Gollings exhibit is the most comprehensive collection of the works of E. W. (Bill) Gollings in existence today, currently on long-term loan to the University of Wyoming Art Museum.

This is the fifth Exhibition and the most ambitious endeavor the Steamboat Art Museum has undertaken as it celebrates its first anniversary in December. Securing the exhibit is a significant coupe for the Museum and it perfectly matches the Museum’s mission to “collect and preserve fine art snf to present it to the public, with a primary focus on the culture and heritage of Northwestern Colorado." The Exhibit consists of 57 works of art, which include paintings, etchings, and pen and ink drawings.

We would like to thank our presenting sponsors for this exhibit, Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation and the City of Steamboat Springs, as well as our many supporting sponsors.

We would also like to thank the University of Wyoming for the loan of the artwork, Dr. Bill Ward and his wife Carole, who have been so generous with their knowledge, and our many volunteers and members who have donated their rime and money to make this exhibit possible.
